Throughout the summer season you might see me demonstrating blacksmithing at one of Cornwall's many agricultural shows or steam rallies. Co-founder of the Cornish Blacksmiths Collective - I join up with other Cornish smiths to promote and demonstrate the craft of blacksmithing. We encourage both professional and amateur blacksmiths to join our growing group. We also offer a range of blacksmithing courses- contact me for more details.

I am a strong supporter of the 'JUST A CARD' campaign - it aims to encourage people to buy from Designer/Makers and Independent Galleries and Shops by reinforcing the message that all purchases, however small, even 'just a card' are so vital to the prosperity and survival of small businesses.

'Stepping from my door I walk through, and over the landscape, gathering the archaeology of industry. It is in this time of gathering and observation that the found sheets of corrugated metal and old copper tanks suggest to my eye what they might become, be it sky or wall or building or sea. My palette is the naturally occurring shades of rust and the blues of copper – the materials own reaction to climate. I utilise charcoals minimally for details or tonal variation to increase perspective.'
